3 Men's Sweater Looks for Thanksgiving

I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.

For Thursday's Thanksgiving Fashion

If you're wondering what to rock this Thursday, look no further! Today's Thanksgiving fashion presents three sweater looks and styles that are sure to impress your family members this holiday around the dinner table. Everyone knows the classic v-neck sweater, but these other three are popular alternatives that'll leave you looking just as snazzy. I'd be content wearing any one of these at my own table! Speaking of my Thanksgiving, I attend two per year, each of which is very different from the other that provides me with a sense of my Filipino culture and my American culture.

For lunch, I attend the home of my father's side of the family here in Jersey which centers more around our Filipino cuisine and thoughtful prayer. For dinner, I attend the home of my mother's sister, my godmother, who never fails to provide a large turkey, and we all gather around the TV to watch the night's football. Regardless of whatever I may experience, Thanksgiving is a time for our families. It's a time to reflect and be grateful for what we have even if that's very little. The truth is, the secret to happiness to really just appreciating what we've been given, but I guess another sweater added to the collection couldn't hurt, right?

1. The Crew Neck Sweater

Today's first sweater look in New Jersey fashion begins with this men's white knit sweater in a crew neck format. Like the rest of the sweaters, I paired it with a dress shirt underneath to add some depth. If you're looking for a good crew neck sweater, be sure to choose one with an interesting design across it to give your outfit a touch of personality since this sweater type is usually the most simple of the three. Read about the one I have on here.

2. The Classic Cardigan

Second, I'm wearing a men's red cardigan sweater. These aren't just for your grandfather anymore. The classic cardigan is an extremely versatile piece. You can button or unbutton it based on which you think you prefer. The cardigan I have on is a basic form of this type of clothing and there are many variations with different collars. I recommend getting a cardigan in a color that really pops out at you to give you an extra flair. Find this cardigan in my first ever post here.

3. Cozy Shawl Collar Sweater

Third, I have an a men's shawl collar sweater. This is perhaps my favorite one of the three. The type of collar shown on this one is not only the most cozy, but also the most intriguing. For shawl sweaters, I favor how the dress shirt underneath comes out only a little bit at the top, sort of subtle but still present. On this kind of sweater, I wouldn't recommend a tie as I would on the other two since a tie wouldn't be very visible on this. Since the collar is the eye catcher here, any color or any design will work well as long as it flows with the rest of the outfit. Read about a recent article on this sweater here.
