"We cry together. We laugh together. We play together. We win together, and we lose together. And I'm thankful to share such a great bond.
Hawaiian culture never ceases to have bring fascination for the American mainstream and its fashion seems to remind us of what it feels like to step foot on the island paradise. Presenting his men's summer style is Joell whose outfit is from his role as Teihutu, a Hawaiian native, in the musical adaptation of the Nicholas Cage movie Honey Moon in Vegas which takes place partially on the famous Pacific isles. Teihutu is hired by the film's man antagonist, Tommy Korman, to distract Jack Singer, the main character, from finding Betsy, his girlfriend, who Korman "won" from him in a poker game. Although it seems that Teihutu is trying to aid Jack once he steps foot on Hawaii, Jack doesn't really know Teihutu's true intentions.

To fully understand what it means to be part of humanity, it is important to study and understand both our culture and our history which often get intertwined with each other. Juliette, today's April fashion featured individual, is well versed in each category and carries a vast knowledge of the eras that came before but is also in tune with her French heritage. Soon off to college, Juliette wishes to study in Canada which has a significant French-speaking population. Her love of history has also caused her to hopefully focus on that during her higher education, and someday, she wishes to help preserve artifacts of our anthropology which have the power to explain and recollect our human existence.
If you have a dream, you should follow it. If you have a goal, you should keep trying to meet it. That's the mentality of Brian, a young artist in the making and today's February fashion featured individual. Brian began his roots in music when he was 8 and sang in a nearby mall's karaoke night where he won tickets to Six Flags for his performance. A few years later, he joined his middle school choir where he received a solo in his very first year. It set him up to conquer his high school's performing realm, and Brian began his freshmen year in the arts department's vocal academy. He was a bit nervous in a new environment but the confidence he soon gained set him up for an even greater pursuit of music.
People have passions. It can be math, writing, science, or in the case of Julia, today's fashion featured individual, it can be art. We've previously explored her love of this creative area but she has given an even further and in depth look as to what art means to her and how art can encompass more than we think. Julia's passion has built her up in ways that a regular education could not, and art has given her a medium in which to strength other areas of her life. Importantly, through her expressive courses, Julia has learned about one of the greatest tools to improvement: criticism. There's no more being complacent.
Our generation grew up with the internet. While our parents see this form of communication and information as sometimes foreign, to us, it's almost second nature to post a picture or like someone else's. In this day and age, the world is now more connected than ever. In an instant, a person across the country can receive a Snapchat and return one in a matter of seconds. That's the marvel of the time we live in, but it doesn't come without its downsides. Today's December fashion and teen winter fashion individual, Gabby, is rocking a Gucci embroidered denim jacket and speaks of the problems we face today as being part of a culture that can be connected by a single click.
We are grateful for the family we're given at birth, but we are also grateful for the family we develop as we form new relationships through sport, clubs, or performing. Today's New Jersey fashion and fall fashion individual is Justine who is wearing a fall dress and boots look. Similar to Gina and Sarah, Justine is an avid dancer as well. She began when she was around 4 and was discovered at a local festival as a little girl dancing along with the performers. Ever since, Justine sees dance as a way to relieve the problems of the day and is a medium in which to express herself when words cannot.
When the bell rings at the end of the day, Sara doesn't head home. She goes to basketball practice. She has only been playing basketball for two years, but she makes varsity every season, including when she was a freshman.
