When we first step onto the field, sometimes we're making a life long commitment. Kacey, who is today's February fashion featured individual, began her soccer career right after she could take her first steps. Since then, she hasn't quit playing and has been participating on high school and league teams. Next year, Kacey will be playing Division One soccer in college. The sport has been a huge part of her life, and she's definitely had to make a lot of sacrifices for her schedule. Yet, it's all paid off in the end. It's all about pushing yourself to the limit and striving to be the best; however, at the core, any sport should first be fun. We wouldn't do it if we didn't first love it, and this is what Kacey loves to do.
What was once a new year seems to be moving fast. It's more than halfway past February, and before we know it, it's already March. Then, right before our eyes, it's summer again, everyone's favorite season. For today's men's outdoor fashion featured individual, Alvaro, his summer plans are already in the works, and he's counting down the days. Along with his older brother, Carlo, Alvaro plans to explore and adventure around the nation from east to west, north to south. For just a single country, there seems to be a whole world of activities that can fill a lifetime. Hopefully, the memories today's young man gets to experience are memories that'll stick with him for a lifetime.
I tend to hold a high faith in the world. As I look across the lake on a brisk January day, I gravitate towards believing that the trees and the birds that inhabit the area will still be here one hundred years down the line. By then, I don't think I'll be alive, but maybe my children and grandchildren will be, should I be blessed with having any. We live on a beautiful planet, and our primary concern in this life time must be to preserve what it holds because if we don't take care of it, it won't be safe anymore. As I said, I'l like to think that we will learn take care it. I'd like to think that we will turn it around before its too late, and I'd like to think that the generations to come will enjoy the graces of nature someday.
There are moments where we question who are true friends in life are. Although we may not fully realize it, our best friends can be the ones we're given at birth, our siblings. It's not all smooth sailing and no relationship is perfect, but nothing is perfect anyways. For today's December fashion and teen fall fashion individual, Marielle, her twin sister is her go to gal when things get rough. Having a twin is a very special gift to have. It's a person who you grow up with every step of way who goes the through the same experiences as you do at the same time. The level of understanding between Marielle and Caitlin, her twin, is beyond imaginable.
Life isn't just about what we can do for ourselves; life's about what we can for those around us. In today's world, there exists a plethora of different occupations that serve for the benefit of society such as being a teacher, doctor, or social worker. For Wednesday's men's outdoor fashion, we have a young man named Ryan who is making strides to become a nurse. With rising rates of male nurses in the medical world, Ryan won't just be working to fill a gender gap. He'll be working to save the lives of others. To him, becoming a nurse means being a part of something greater than himself. He says that this career provides an opportunity to do something he loves, helping those in need.
When we learn to appreciate visuals arts, we learn to appreciate the simple beauties of the world. Almost anything can be turned into art with the right amount of ingenuity and creativity. The best thing about it is that it's really up to our own interpretation. No two people share the same view on the same piece and no two pieces are the same. Art is as unique as the creators behind it. Today's New Jersey fashion and December fashion featured individual is Julia, who is rocking an oversized green shirt look, and she is an artist herself. It's a passion that has had an impact on her since she first picked up the pencil. Her artwork acts as medium in which she can express herself like no other. Art has allowed her to showcase her thoughts through her compositions as well as helped her come out of her shell.
Whether he or she is the youngest of eight children or maybe just two, the baby of the family seems to always have the same attributes: careless, rebellious, and sometimes spoiled. I would know because I am one. My immediate family only consists of one older brother, Timothy, but if you ask me, I really grew up with six more brothers. When I take them into account, I'm really more of a middle child then. From oldest to youngest, these six additional brothers are Matthew, Mitchell, Mico, Michael, Mark, and Martin. That's a lot of alliteration right there. Nonetheless, I love each one of them, and my life wouldn't be the same without them. When we're all together, we don't hesitate to share the same food, the same bed, or the same room. They're my cousins by relation, but they're my brothers forever.
Gina's outfit is a large statement. It takes a lot of courage to get out of your comfort zone, but it's all about confidence. If you don't go in believing you can pull it off, then you may not. The clothes in fashion are just as important as the confidence from the person wearing them. You can look good in anything you want to, you just have to set your mind to it.
