"I'm most excited to meet people from all around the world and join the crew team."
America was built and pushed forward by immigrants who bring in a piece of their home country when they settle here. Eventually, their children become a mix of both American and that of their mother country, inheriting both cultures from their family and their environment. Today's March fashion featured individual, Julianna, is a daughter of Argentinian descent whose father was born there. Growing up, her father only ever spoke to her Spanish, and he still does today. In order for his children to grasp their culture beyond the language, Julianna's dad brought the family back to his native home where the kids received a greater understanding of the world their father grew up in.
Any family filled with love is a success one, and Kasey, who's today's February fashion featured individual, comes from a family who is just that. Yet along the way, they struggled and faced a battle like many others, a battle of inequality. He remembers when at last his parents were wed and joyously raised clasped hands. It took a whole decade, but finally, Kasey's moms were finally married. Growing up, this young man never saw his folks as anything but usual. As a little kid though, he was known as "he-who-has-two-moms" following Native American day in kindergarten. His five and six year old peers were increasingly curious to his family dynamic, but in reality, they truly were no different because at the heart of it, the relationship of his mothers was just the same love.
Once we are graced with music once in our lives, we tend to stick with it forever. It by no means has to be our profession, but no matter where we go, it'll always be with us. Emily, today's spring fashion inspiration individual, has loved singing since she could talk. Like many of us, she grew up listening to Disney stars and watching American Idol and wanted to be just like them. By the age of seven, Emily created a small band with other girls and was writing her own music about her crushes and friendships. Through the years, her passion has only been growing, and will definitely continue to do so as her life progresses.
The world is full of new experiences waiting for us especially in other countries with different people, different attitudes, and a different culture. For today's teen winter fashion and January fashion featured individual, Saharat, visiting France with his father for Christmas was more than just a simple vacation; it was a once in a life time experience because the conditions of it may never be replicated again. The country is home to Saharat's grandmother who he'd only seen one other time in his life. Saharat's trip also portrays both the reason to go out and travel the world as well as to cherish the limited time we have with family.
A lot can happen in four years, especially while we're still young. We can go from immature, awkward kids to eager young adults in what seems to be a blink of an eye. Everything can change in this time ranging from how we dress to who we associate with to what we want to aspire to be down the line. Today's featured individual providing some amazing winter fashion inspiration is Katie who is rocking a women's outdoor apparel look. She explains how her influence by the surrounding world has shaped her to the person she is today and the person she wants to be tomorrow. Now a senior with a desire to study adolescent psychiatry, Katie takes the time to reflect on her earlier years in high school which in the perspective of things, wasn't all too long ago.
If you're wondering what to rock this Thursday, look no further! Today's Thanksgiving fashion presents three sweater looks and styles that are sure to impress your family members this holiday around the dinner table. Everyone knows the classic v-neck sweater, but these other three are popular alternatives that'll leave you looking just as snazzy. I'd be content wearing any one of these at my own table! Speaking of my Thanksgiving, I attend two per year, each of which is very different from the other that provides me with a sense of my Filipino culture and my American culture.
It's hard to believe in love when you're young, especially if you have yet to dip your foot in such a subject. Today's New Jersey fashion and teen fall fashion individuals are Jackie and Jon, a most lovely couple who has been going strong for 6 months and counting. They originally met last December but lost touch soon afterwards. Jackie mentioned, "When I met him, I was like, he's not my type." That would prove wrong when they began to speak again that following March. Jon still knew that Jackie didn't have much interest to begin with. After getting coffee, a date to see Batman vs. Superman, and a lavish streak dinner cooked by Jon, Jackie began to see that he was proving to be something special. By April, Jackie and Jon finally made it official, and their story is as follows...

It felt like summer yesterday and now, we're already at Halloween weekend. Time seems to pass us way too fast. One day you're canoeing on the lake under the blistering sun and then all of a sudden, you're taking pictures there before you head over to a Halloween party. Not to worry, I changed into a costume before I got there. Going back to the seasons, fall's been taking a while to mature this year, and the colors of the trees on the lake have yet to hit their peak. Although, it's just an absolute marvel of natural that trees so green can change to beautiful hues of red, yellow, and orange. You can witness this a little bit better on a lake because there's a whole array of trees lining it. Paired with the glistening water from the sunset, it's almost impossible to find a more gorgeous and simplistic place.
