Presented today and back again is the skate and fashion brand Diskko who's been working around the clock both domestically and internationally to grow their brand. Currently in the works is their April drop including a few of the awesome pieces seen in this shoot. Talking about the brand today is Hunter, the creative director. He's in charge of all company designs and products including the new Cherry Blossom Long Sleeve Tee and Fade 6 Panel Cap. Yet, he's more than just sharing his latest design. Hunter's also given an insight to what Diskko means for him, the struggles, the workload, and the sweetest parts of working for a growing company.
America was built and pushed forward by immigrants who bring in a piece of their home country when they settle here. Eventually, their children become a mix of both American and that of their mother country, inheriting both cultures from their family and their environment. Today's March fashion featured individual, Julianna, is a daughter of Argentinian descent whose father was born there. Growing up, her father only ever spoke to her Spanish, and he still does today. In order for his children to grasp their culture beyond the language, Julianna's dad brought the family back to his native home where the kids received a greater understanding of the world their father grew up in.
If you ever need to know what time it is, these three fine young gentlemen have you covered. Their names are Ray, Layton, and Evan, and they're today's March fashion featured individuals who're presenting some classy, classic, and casual men's fashion. Their story goes all the way back to their childhood. These boys originally grew up together living only a few doors down from each other in the same neighborhood. During elementary school, they all had a shared bus stop. Little conversations soon turned into hanging out, and hanging out turned into forming life long relationships. These three boys have stuck together for years, and it's not doubt that they'll stick together in the future too.
What was once a new year seems to be moving fast. It's more than halfway past February, and before we know it, it's already March. Then, right before our eyes, it's summer again, everyone's favorite season. For today's men's outdoor fashion featured individual, Alvaro, his summer plans are already in the works, and he's counting down the days. Along with his older brother, Carlo, Alvaro plans to explore and adventure around the nation from east to west, north to south. For just a single country, there seems to be a whole world of activities that can fill a lifetime. Hopefully, the memories today's young man gets to experience are memories that'll stick with him for a lifetime.
Back again rocking her February fashion in the gleaming snow is Alex who is the daughter of two Mexican born immigrants. Her parents came to this country when they were relatively young, and they came for the same reason people have came for centuries: the American dream. It's the dream of making it in a country founded on freedoms. We don't have to make millions, have a big house, or a lot of fancy cars to achieve it. All it requires is opportunity and a life better than the one that came before it. Success in America is more than the amount of money in a pocket; it's about the possibilities and the pursuit of happiness.
They say that love is one of the strongest forces in the universe. It has the power to bring people together, and its absence can cause distance between families, groups, communities, and even nations. This Valentine's Day, love should be recognized as more than just between two people. It deserves to be everywhere shared with all different beliefs, races, shapes, and sizes. Today's Valentine's Day fashion and February fashion featured individual, Mike, is still a young man, and he admits that he has a lot to learn about love. Yet no matter the age, we can all say a little a bit about what we think love is, and that's what Mike is telling for today.
Our hard work and dedication never end. Once we hit our goal, a new one to reach for arises and the struggle is never truly over. Today's teen winter fashion and January fashion featured individual, Julianna, had her heart set on making the varsity field hockey team in her first year of high school so that she could follow in the footsteps of her older sister, Jennelle. Once she made the team, Juli was faced with a whole other beast, the actual season itself. However, she also had her heart set on succeeding on the team once she made it in too. Her experiences were always an uphill battle, and the odds were usually against her. Yet, she wouldn't let a little challenge weigh her down.
Nothing in life is ever guaranteed, but if we work and grind hard enough, what we reach for gets a little bit closer. This is true for art, academics, and especially for athletics. Today's teen street fashion, and January fashion individual, Quincy, has been giving it his all in the game of basketball similar to our last men's featured individual, Nick. Quincy began playing since ever since he was a little kid. Growing up, he was a lot taller and bigger than other children his age, giving him a major advantage. Yet, soon his peers would catch up to his height and started bringing the same physicality. As this young man got older, he realized that the intensity he had to put into a game to get ahead had to greatly increase. Yet, there was still no stopping him from becoming even better.
During the Friday nights throughout the Autumn, you'd find him on the sidelines of his high school football games as part of the dance team. He was the only male and was very visible due to his tall height and all black attire. For Quinn, today's winter fashion featured individual, every time he performed for the entertainment of the crowd, less people began to see him as "that guy who dances" and rather saw the team as whole, regardless of who was in it. Quinn believes that people who are different should be different, but their uniqueness doesn't have to garner any additional or unneeded attention. At the end of the day, we're all just human beings looking for our own corner of happiness and trying to do our thing.
Father's Day isn't for another six months, but it doesn't mean that we can't appreciate them any day of the year. Having a dad is definitely one of the greatest gifts we can be given and the older we get, the more we tend to see the value in having one. Today's December fashion and teen winter fashion individual, Jaclyn, speaks about one of her best friends, her dad. Her father has always been a huge part of her life, and she is very grateful for him this holiday season. Every since she was little, he always made an effort to make time for Jaclyn and her sister, Julia, even though he's a police officer. Through it all, he's always been a greatly significant figure.
